Patents by Inventor Roland C. Colton
Roland C. Colton has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing
includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been
granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
System and method of tracking and displaying outcomes of a live craps game
Patent number: 8545300
Abstract: A system and method for recording and displaying craps game data is disclosed.
A display positioned proximate to a craps table displays craps game data which can be
manually input or acquired automatically. Manually inputting craps game data is
facilitated by a remote control device in communication with the display. A scanner,
camera or other image capturing means can be used to acquire dice roll outcomes which
are then automatically transmitted to the display. Various displayed craps game data,
including a roll history and a clock, allow players to observe whether a craps table is hot or
cold. System memory permits best rolls of the day, week, month, year or all time to be
displayed as well.

Baseball mania slot machine
Patent number: 7086944
Abstract: A slot machine uses a sports theme, such as a baseball theme. Each spin of the
slot reels represents an individual at-bat and a series of spins represent a full baseball
season. Each successful at-bat by the player, such as a single, double, triple or home run,
will be awarded with a payout, with higher payouts provided for runs batted in and special
additional payouts will be awarded for home runs depending on the distance of the home
run. Statistics are also accumulated over the course of a baseball season which is a series of
spins of the reels. The player is awarded with special payouts based on his accumulated
batting average, double, triples, home runs and runs batted in over the course of a full
season. The player may restart the accumulated season totals at any time if he is
dissatisfied with the accrued totals that he has achieved.

Casino style game
Patent number: 6755420
Abstract: The present invention is a dice game based on the sport of baseball. The game
described permits a player to participate by wagering on the combined sum of three rolled
dice. Each combined sum of the dice equates to a common baseball outcome such as a
home run, error or strikeout. Players make wagers dependent on each at-bat, each halfinning
or game result. The game played with three dice follows realistically the outcomes
associated with a professional baseball game. The game is designed for player v. player,
team v. player or team v. team. In the preferred embodiment the game is played on a table
including a pit area similar to a craps table. The table layout displays the outcomes, various
